Returns and Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping at Shereen Syed.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. Items bought through our online shop can be returned to us within 14 days of receiving the products.
To be eligible for a return, please make sure that:
- You contact us by email at contact@shereensyed.com from the date of purchase and within 14 days of receiving the product, requesting a refund and include your order number in the email. We will issue you with a Return Merchandise Number (RMN) and return address for you to send the product back to.
- You return the product in its original packaging
- The product is new & unused. We do not accept items which have been worn, soiled or damaged
- You include the receipt or proof of purchase in the package
- You include all authenticity cards, boxes, dust bags, tags.
- You include the Return Merchandise Number (RMN) in the package.
- You return the product within 14 days of receiving the RMN number from us.
Products that do not meet these criteria may not be considered for a return or refund and may be sent back to the customer.
If the items are returned late and fall outside of the above specified time frame, we may only offer a credit note to be used at our online shop.
If all of the above criteria is met for a return, we will issue a refund and you will receive a credit into the same account that the items were purchased from. You will be notified by email when this is done. This may take up to 10 working days which is dependent on the banks processing time and is out of our hands once we issue the refund. If you are based outside of the EU – we do not offer refunds on any customs duties & sales tax incurred.
Shipping charges
Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable.You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of or damage to the product during shipping to Shereen Syed. We recommend that you insure the package and use a secure and tracked courier service when returning goods as you will be liable for any damage in transit. Please retain proof of shipping for your own records.
Damaged items
All jewellery pieces are quality checked and then carefully packaged by Shereen Syed to ensure each piece arrives to you in the same perfect condition that it was sent in. If your package arrives damaged due to shipping please notify us immediately for assistance by email contact@shereensyed.com and include photos of the damage and we will do our utmost to resolve any problems.
Faulty Items
Products are faulty if they are received damaged by post to you or if a manufacturing fault occurs within 6 months of receiving the items. Items showing signs of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Every effort is made to show the true colours of each piece of jewellery, however we cannot control the image displayed on everyone’s device and as such we cannot guarantee that the image displayed on customer’s devices show an accurate image or colour of the items when buying through our online shop. All jewellery pieces are handcrafted and as such are unique in their own way. The stones used for each piece are mentioned in the description box as real or synthetic. As such, each stone has its own unique characteristic & colour. Not all stones will be exactly the same colour, shade or shape. This does not mean they are imperfect or faulty in anyway. In fact this adds more character and uniqueness to each design. Please bear in mind that due to all designs being uniquely handcrafted, each piece may vary slightly from the image displayed on this website. This does not mean that they are flawed in anyway whatsoever. We can offer to repair any faulty item that falls within the said category or replace it for the same item & size subject to availability as an exchange. If neither a repair or exchange is suitable we will offer a refund. Shipping costs for return of the items will be covered by us.
Items not refundable
Unfortunately bespoke, made-to-order, or personalised items cannot be refunded. Earrings are required to be returned unworn for a full refund.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange your item for something different, please follow the exact process for a refund as set out above and we will issue you a refund, after which you can place a new order for the item you would rather have.
Cancelling your order
If you would like to cancel your order, please do so within 14 days of purchase. We will issue you a refund which may take up to 10 working days. If the item has already been shipped to you before you decide to cancel, please follow the returns process as highlighted above. You will have to return the package back to us in the same way and you will have to cover shipping costs as detailed above. A refund will then be issued upon receipt of the goods. Again, this may take up to 10 working days for the banks to process once issued.
Repairs
For any repairs needed for your jewellery, please contact us on contact@shereensyed.com with the details. It can take up 10-12 weeks for a repair depending on the level of work needed to be carried out. Prices may vary on a case by case basis.
