The Bridal Jhumka

£360.00

I am so excited to announce my first sustainable piece from my collection made with 100% recycled silver! I will be introducing recycled metals to my designs so watch this space!

This piece has been inspired by the beautiful Dargah Shrine/Mosque which sits across the Dal Lake in Srinagar. If you read my last post from my blog, it puts everything in perspective. The Crescent Moon sitting directly over the beautiful dome is something that I have tried to capture in my design.

What better stones to reflect the design of the peaceful Mosque and the calm Lake than stunning pearls. The intricate detail in enamel of the beautiful Lotus flower is another one of my favourite childhood memories. I remember picking one from the Lake with my cousin on a visit to her reputable family Houseboat on the Dal and I think it just finishes this piece off perfectly.
